That meant we had to wait a few times for one of the two elevators, but the wait never took more than five minutes or so. Because many folks were attending the same event at Nationwide Arena, there were a few times that everyone appeared to be on the same schedule. That being said, we always found an available parking spot. On site parking was easy, but the spaces were a little tight. The service staff in the lobby area were always friendly and helpful, even offering to throw out our trash when they noticed we had finished our plates. I was surprised that they brought out a new batch of fresh biscuits about 10 minutes before the end of the breakfast hour. There were numerous hot and cold breakfast options and the staff always did their best to refill stations that were running low. We were comped one night's stay for our trouble, which I thought was more than fair. The front desk employee was apologetic and was able to switch us to a nearby room. When we returned to our room just before midnight, we noticed that the problem was not resolved. We noticed that our toilet wasn't flushing on the first night, so we notified the front desk before leaving at about 6pm. Every employee that we ran into was genuinely friendly and helpful. The customer service was stellar across the board, particularly the manager on site. We all tried the vodka cherry sour and really enjoyed them. Each adult was afforded two complimentary alcoholic drinks. The menu changed each night, but it always included a family favorite - fresh baked potatoes. We enjoyed the kickback happy hour both nights. The carpeting is definitely a bit worn out, but overall the suite was nice because it gave our family an opportunity to spread out. This hotel is a little dated and the rooms are dimly lit. The room smelled a little musty upon entry but was clean. This meant that we had a small room with a couch and a table that was separated from our beds. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a small suite. It is just a few blocks away from the arena and my daughter and I felt safe walking the short distance without my husband. We selected this hotel because of it's proximity to Nationwide Arena.
