Revolving around a fourteen-year-old boy named Sora, it details his adventures after his homeworld is destroyed by sinister creatures known as the Heartless, and his attempts to restore his world and reunite with his friends. Players will embark on musical escapades in a new KINGDOM HEARTS story, featuring more than 140 familiar songs and characters, including Sora, Goofy and Donald. Kingdom Hearts is the first game in the Kingdom Hearts series. SQUARE ENIX and Disney also recently announced that KINGDOM HEARTS fan looking for more adventures can look forward to KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory, an immersive musical journey filled with memorable Disney and KINGDOM HEARTS songs, worlds and characters, that will be coming to the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One family of devices and Nintendo Switch™ system later this year. Together with a teenage Xehanort, a young Master Eraqus, and a cast of newly introduced Keyblade Wielders, players will travel through familiar Disney worlds to defeat Heartless and uncover the mysteries surrounding Xehanort’s past. The worlds included are: Hollow Bastion, Traverse Town, Olimpus Coliseum, Neverland, Agrabah, Deep Jungle, The Land of Dragons, Port Royal, Beasts Castle. KINGDOM HEARTS Dark Road features easy-to-learn, card-based gameplay, optimised for touch-based controls on mobile devices.

Square Enix Ltd., and Disney announced today that KINGDOM HEARTS Dark Road, a new, original story and unique gameplay experience within the hit mobile game KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ Dark Road, is now available to all players as a free update. Square Enix held a 20th-anniversary event for Kingdom Hearts over the weekend and subsequently released a trailer for three games.
